SPEAKER PROFILE

Matthias is a member of the Snowflake Field CTO Office leading the Data Mesh strategy at Snowflake. He has more than 20 years of experience in the design, engineering, and deployment of database and analytics technology. Prior to joining Snowflake Matthias managed IBM Sales Engineering for databases, big data, and data science across Europe for 5 years. Before that he spent 15 years at the IBM Silicon Valley Lab in San Jose, California, holding various technical and management roles in the Db2 engineering organization.
